Scones, jam and cream the perfect spring treat

Members of the Alberton branch of the Democratic Alliance (DA) surprised the residents of SAVF Kinross Herberg with a tasty treat and a visit, recently.

“Our residents were once again spoilt,” said Carmelita de Wet, manager of Kinross and Della Villa.

The residents enjoyed some delicious scones topped with jam and fresh cream, all in celebration of spring.

“Though the treat came a few days after the start of the new season it was well worth the wait,” said Carmelita.
