Eleven alleged criminals were nabbed in a night operation in Katlehong on Wednesday.
The operation was carried out by members of the Katlehong SAPS Crime Prevention Unit and detectives from the Katlehong Police Station in an attempt to curb crime in the area.

The accused were arrested for various offences.
Charges included attempted murder, rape, common assault, intimidation, malicious damage to property, dealing in drugs, possession of drugs and driving under the influence of alcohol.
All of the arrested suspects appeared in the Palm Ridge Magistrate’s Court, where their cases were postponed for various reasons.

Katlehong SAPS station commander Brig Sammy Thambo was pleased with the team’s efforts and encouraged them to keep up the good work.
