Help the Red Cross become mobile again

Vehicle dealerships and businesses are urged to assist with a new vehicle.

The Germiston branch of the South African Red Cross Society recently suffered a serious blow when their vehicle was stolen at the Wadeville Licensing Centre.

The vehicle, a Toyota Etios 1.5 hatch, was used for many different purposes from transporting staff to business meetings and making collections to going out to the communities and transporting disaster relief items.

“Unfortunately the insurance company won’t pay out the full replacement value so we are appealing to car dealerships or local businesses to assist us with a replacement vehicle,” said Barbara Jensen, the manager of Germiston Red Cross.

If you can assist the society contact Barbara on 011 873 9009.
