Hospice East Rand is hosting a fund-raising Polar Plunge at Birchwood Pool at the Birchwood Hotel and OR Tambo Conference Centre.

The event takes place this Saturday, July 27 from 8am to 11am.

All are welcome to attend.

Guests must bring their own towels and participants must have the area up to and including their shoulders in the water.

Entrants can stand a chance of winning a weekend stay for two, including breakfast and dinner at the Silverbirch at Birchwood.

The entrance fee is R100 per adult and R50 for children under 12.
