Watch – Boikanyo Bug sets off to heal the hearts of children in need

PARKTOWN – The Boikanyo bug will travel from Cape Town to Romania to raise funds for cardiac surgeries for children in need, in partnership with the Nelson Mandela Children’s Hospital.

The Boikanyo Bug launch took place at Nelson Mandela Children’s Hospital (NMCH), 6 Jubilee Road, Parktown on 18 July – the little bug from Boikanyo foundation will drive from Cape Town to Romania to raise funds for cardiac surgeries for children.

Fundraising has started off strong, as funds for 18 surgeries have been raised so far, they are hoping to raise funds for 125 cardiac surgeries by the end of the drive.
