The metro has upgraded its service payment website called e-siyakhokha.co.za.
The upgrade has resulted in the website address changing to www.siyakhokha.ekurhuleni.gov.za.
The upgrades were necessitated by the need to align the platform with the digital city Ekurhuleni aspires to be, and will ultimately result in a service payment platform that is user-friendly and easily accessible.
The upgraded online system will allow customers to view, manage and pay their municipal accounts conveniently.
The old website (www.e-siyakhokha.co.za) is no longer in use.
Instead, customers will now have to log on to www.siyakhokha.ekurhuleni.gov.za.
Those who have been using the e-Siyakhokha website will have to register on the new website, and new users are also encouraged to register.

Simply log on to the new website, www.siyakhokha.ekurhuleni.gov.za, and follow the easy six-step registration process.
Where else can I pay my municipal account?
Pay your municipal account at the following outlets: customer care centres, SPAR, banks, Pick n Pay, Checkers, Pep Stores, Makro and Builders Warehouse.
