Germiston SAPS Task Team puts three suspects behind bars

Three men nabbed in Germiston on charges of possession of dagga and dealing in dagga.

While on patrol in their policing precinct recently, officers from the Germiston SAPS Task Team spotted a suspicious white Toyota bakkie occupied by three men.

“The officers flagged down the vehicle and asked to search the men, aged between 30 and 35, and their vehicle,” said Const Maxwell Mabunda, communications officer for the Germiston police.

“During the search, officers found plastic bags containing dagga with the street value of R17 000.”

All three men were arrested on charges of possession of dagga and dealing in dagga.

They were detained at the Germiston Police Station, pending their appearance in the Germiston Magistrate’s Court.
