Woman arrested after alleged theft

Woman apprehended for theft by Primrose police.

A 29-year-old woman was recently arrested by the Primrose police on a charge of theft.

Police were alerted to the incident by a Myrtle Road homeowner.

“The complainant alleged that she left her home to go to work,” said Sgt Styles Maome, communications officer for the Primrose police.

“While at work she decided to view her home camera footage.

“She allegedly saw her domestic worker taking several items – which she never gave her permission to take.”

The police traced the domestic worker to her home where she was arrested.

She was detained at the Primrose Police Station and will appear in the Germiston Magistrate’s Court soon.
