Woman allegedly attacked by boyfriend

Primrose police arrest man for domestic violence.

A woman opened a case of domestic violence against her 39-year-old boyfriend after he allegedly attacked her in Thistle Road last Monday.

“The victim alleged the accused attacked her after she reportedly asked him to leave her home as her younger brother was coming to stay with her,” communications officer for the Primrose police Sgt Styles Maome said.

It is reported that when she left for work the suspect followed her.

“He allegedly grabbed her and when she fell to the floor he reportedly hit her with a brick,” said Maome.

“She sustained injuries to her back.”

The man was traced and arrested on a charge of domestic violence.

He will appear in the Germiston Magistrate’s Court soon.
