A motorcyclist killed following collision with passenger vehicle

Motorcyclist dies after his motorcycle and a light passenger vehicle collide on the corner of Kraft Road and Limpopo Street.

Ekurhuleni Disaster and Emergency Management Services (DEMS) responded to an accident scene on the corner of Kraft Road and Limpopo Street on Wednesday morning at 6.46am, involving a motorcycle and a passenger vehicle.

One person was left dead following an accident on the corner of Kraft Road and Limpopo Street on Wednesday, involving a motorcycle and a light passenger vehicle.

According to Eric Maloka, media liaison for DEMS, the accident happened at 6.41am and Emer-G-Med paramedics, who were first on the scene, declared the motorcyclist dead on scene.

The other driver was declared a priority three patient and refused transportation to the hospital.

This motorcycle was involved in a fatal collision on the corner of Kraft Road and Limpopo Street on Wednesday morning.

The scene was cleared by 9.30am.

“An investigation into the cause of the accident has been launched,” said Maloka.
