Primrose police nab 13 suspects

The Primrose police share their latest arrest statistics.

The Primrose police arrested 13 suspects between May 30 and June 5.

This is according to the latest arrest statistics released by the station.

The accused were charged with a number of different offences.

Charges included domestic violence, assault with the intent to cause grievous bodily harm, driving under the influence of alcohol, warrant of arrest, possession of suspected stolen property, rape, dealing in liquor without a licence, fraud and contempt of court.

The Primrose SAPS station commander Col Albertina Vesi thanked everyone who contributed to the successful arrests.

Most of the suspects appeared in the Germiston Magistrate’s Court where their cases were postponed for various reasons, while others paid admission of guilt fines at the station and were released.
