Primrose Sector One CPF executive committee to hold its AGM

Residents urged to attend Primrose Sector One CPF’s upcoming AGM.

The Primrose Sector One CPF executive committee (ExCo) is set to hold its AGM on June 27.

Residents of Primrose Sector One are urged to attend this meeting set to take place at Luso Africa’s home Hattingh Park, situated in Walnut Street, at 6.30pm.

The ExCo is made up of a chairperson, deputy chairperson, secretary, deputy secretary, treasurer, public relations officer and a head of patrollers.

The current proposals are as follows:

Chairperson: Bradley Adams

Deputy chairperson: John Hoffe

Secretary: Estelle de Wet

Deputy secretary: Cindy Ferreira

Treasurer: Emmerentia Botes

Public relations officer: Benjamin Jones

Head of patrollers: Sean Jones

The following procedure applies in respect of the election of the ExCo:

Nominations for the members of the committee shall be made on the day of the AGM under the direction of the electoral officer as follows:

• The ExCo must be elected at an AGM of the CPF.

• Individuals will be nominated for each of the above-mentioned positions.

• Alternative representatives may be nominated, if present at the meeting and communicated before June 20 to the current committee for administrative purposes.

• Each resident present at the AGM has one vote for each position.

Any newly elected member of the committee takes office upon closure of the AGM.

Outgoing members of the ExCo must present a handover report to the newly elected members within 15 days of the date of the AGM.

The term of office of elected members is five years and any member may only be re-elected for one more consecutive term.
