Suspects arrested in Primrose for different offences

The Primrose police share their latest arrest statistics.

The Primrose police arrested 18 suspects between May 10 and 16.

This is according to the latest arrest statistics released by the station.

The accused were charged with a number of different offences.

Charges included domestic violence, assault with the intent to cause grievous bodily harm, driving under the influence of alcohol, contempt of court, possession of nyaope, attempted hijacking, warrant of arrest, malicious damage to property, and house break-in and theft.

The Primrose SAPS station commander, Col Albertina Vesi, thanked everyone who contributed to the successful arrests.

Most of the suspects appeared in the Germiston Magistrate’s Court, where their cases were postponed for various reasons, while others paid admission of guilt fines at the station and were released.
