The latest Germiston SAPS stats revealed that 54 suspects were arrested between May 6 to 12.
The suspects were jailed for various crimes including:
• Shoplifting: 5
• Fraud: 2
• Assault with intent to cause grievous bodily harm: 3
• Malicious damage to property: 2
• Attempted murder: 1
• Theft: 4
• Reckless and negligent driving: 2
• Possession of drugs: 5
• Possession of suspected stolen property: 1
• Contravening with firearm act: 1
• Possession of a dangerous weapon: 1
• Drunk and driving: 27.
