Annual March for Jesus to take place this weekend

All invited to come along and celebrate Freedom Day by marching and praying in unity.

Christian groups across the country will unite on April 27 to march and pray in unity for the freedom of South Africa.

As part of this initiative, Mount Zion, Beula Park, situated in Meadowdale, will be host to the South Africa March for Jesus initiative from 10am to 1pm on the day.

The day’s events will include the march, prayer and praise.

The community’s spiritual leaders, authorities and congregations (of all denominations) are invited to attend.

Mount Zion visionary Dr Nico Landman said: “We have held the march annually from the premises for several years now, but this year it has been timed to coincide with a very special day on our nation’s calendar, Freedom Day.

“This is a day for South Africans to celebrate freedom and democracy in our country.

“It is also a platform for true believers to act as a corporate body and pray that real freedom and liberty will come to this nation, a freedom which can only be secured through Christ.”

Beula Park International Conference Centre, where Mount Zion is situated, is at 437 Sam Green Street, Meadowdale.
