Community to air their concerns at public meeting
Public meeting to be held on Saturday at Afrikaanse Hoërskool Germiston.
The community is urged to attend a public meeting on April 13.
The meeting, which will be held at Afrikaanse Hoërskool Germiston in Webber Road, is a follow-up meeting.

The original meeting was held in Dinwiddie after MMC for community services Clr Dora Mlambo requested an urgent meeting with the residents of Ward 39.
At the meeting, residents were meant to get the opportunity to ask officials from the water, energy, waste and finance departments, as well as the call-taking centre, questions and to raise their concerns on the draft Integrated Development Plan (IDP) budget and service delivery issues.
“The officials were not available to answer any of the residents’ concerns,” said Ward 39 Clr Alta de Beer.
A follow-up meeting was then rescheduled with officials from the departments scheduled to attend.

“I encourage all residents of Ward 39, Ward 35 and Ward 36, who experience service delivery issues, to attend this Saturday’s meeting to put questions directly to the officials,” said de Beer.
The meeting will start at 9am.
