Selling for as little as R5, books were flying off the shelves at Avril Elizabeth Home’s book sale last Saturday.
Locals woke early to browse through crates filled with books at the home in the hope of finding classic novels and new reads and simultaneously helping the home raise much-needed funds.
If you missed the book sale, don’t fret, Teddy Book Shop situated at the home, is open Monday to Friday, from 8am until 4pm.
To donate books contact the home on 011 822 2233.
