Stop parking on the pavement – urge Primrose police

Avoid parking your motor vehicle on pavements or where there are no security officers guarding other cars police advise.

The Primrose police are still warning the community of Primrose to refrain from parking their vehicles on the pavement.

According to police a record number of theft of motor vehicles and theft out of motor vehicles cases are still being reported, as the community continue to leave their vehicles on pavements unattended.

“You are inviting the criminals to come target your vehicle when you park it on the pavement,” said communications officer Const Styles Maoma.

To help combats motor vehicle theft in the area the SAPS have compiled a list of safety tips for the community to take into account when they are parking their vehicles:
