Boys, aged seven and eight, are suspects in murder of three-year-old boy in Germiston

The Germiston SAPS has confirmed that a case of murder has been opened following the death of a three-year-old boy. The boy’s body was found at a dumping site near the Marathon informal settlement in Primrose, last Sunday, after he was reported missing by his family last Saturday.

Flying Squad members arrest alleged murderers on N17 highway in Germiston

Members of the Germiston Flying Squad arrested four men and recovered two unlicensed firearms at the Gosforth Plaza on the N17 highway in Germiston at 9.45pm last Wednesday.

EMPD recovers stolen vehicle in less than two hours

A grey Nissan NP200 light delivery van was stolen at 6am in Germiston last Wednesday. The owner alerted his vehicle’s tracking company which in turn provided information to EMPD SWAT Unit members.

Troublesome areas in Germiston CBD targeted in crime prevention and by-law blitz

The disturbing and unacceptable trends emerging on certain streets in the Germiston CBD, especially on Meyer and President streets, between Library and Odendaal streets, on Friday and Saturday nights, prompted the police to take action recently.

Associates, suppliers and consumers operating within the bus industry came from different area codes within the country, while others flew in from distant lands such as Mozambique, Malawi and Brazil to bear witness to the evolution of Marcopolo.
