Nineteen arrested for various crimes in Primrose

The Primrose police share their latest arrest statistics.

The Primrose police arrested 19 suspects between February 20 and 27.

This is according to the latest arrest statistics released by the station.

The accused were charged with a number of different offences.

Charges included murder, driving under the influence of alcohol, possession of a dangerous weapon, assault with the intent to cause grievous bodily harm, common assault, malicious damage to property, rape, dealing in liquor without a licence, fraud and shoplifting.

The Primrose SAPS station commander, Col Albertina Vesi, thanked everyone who contributed to the successful arrests.

Most of the suspects appeared in the Germiston Magistrate’s Court where their cases were postponed for various reasons, while others paid admission of guilt fines at the station and were released.
