The Katlehong police’s Crime Prevention Unit and detectives from the Katlehong Police Station hosted a stop-and-search operation in their precinct last Thursday.
During the operation, three arrests were made.

One of the accused was arrested on a charge of murder, the second for common assault and the final suspect was arrested after a warrant of arrest was issued for him after he failed to pay maintenance.
All of the arrested suspects appeared in the Palm Ridge Magistrate’s Court, where their cases were postponed for a number of different reasons.

Katlehong SAPS acting station commander Col Doctor Sibuyi called for the community to report crimes and criminal activities in the area, without fear that they will be targeted by the offenders.
