Stage Three loadshedding continues today

Make sure you make plans for loadsheddiing.

Eksom has implemented Stage Three loadshedding today which will run until 11pm tonight.

Customers are reminded to treat all electrical points as live during loadshedding.

Stage One requires 1 000MW, Stage Two requires 2 000MW, Stage Three requires 3 000MW and Stage Four calls for 4 000MW to be rotationally loadshed nationally at a given period.

When will your area be affected by load shedding.

Loadshedding is conducted rotationally as a measure of last resort to protect the power system.

Eskom appeals to residents and businesses to use electricity sparingly during this period.

Please switch off geysers, as well as all non-essential lighting and electrical appliances to assist in reducing demand.
