Ward 36 councillor Wendy Morgan has given the GCN information regarding a number of power outages affecting the city.
The power is out in the following areas:
• Portion of Buhle Park off due to equipment failure. Estimated switch on is at about noon.
• Castleview, Dinwiddie, portion of Wadeville, Estera and KAL. Power off due to attempted theft. Estimated switch on is at about 12.30pm.
• Wychwood, Simmerfield, Heriotdale, Primrose Hill, Malvern, Dawnview and surrounding areas. Power off due to a cable fault. Estimated switch on is at about 11am.
• Johnson Mathey, Germiston South, Germiston South Extenions 2, 4, 7, 8 and 9 and Tedstoneville. Power off due to equipment failure. Estimated switch on is at about 11.30am.
