Three die, one serious in collision in Rondebult over weekend
Netcare 911 attended an accident scene on Saturday night in Rondebult.
Netcare 911 responded to reports of a collision on the R554 Van Dyk Road in Rondebult, Germiston, at 10.39pm on Saturday night.
“Reports from the scene indicate a light motor vehicle and a heavy motor vehicle were involved in a collision resulting in the car bursting into flames on impact,” said Shawn Herbst, media liaison officer for Netcare Limited, Netcare 911.
“Three occupants of the car sustained fatal injuries and were declared dead on the scene and another sustained serious injuries.”
Once stabilised, the patient was transported to hospital for further assessment.
“All necessary authorities were on scene,” said Herbst.
