Police appeal to community for information

Primrose police are appealing to the community to come forward with information that could lead to the arrest of five suspects accused of attempted murder.

The Primrose police are currently investigating a case of attempted murder and are appealing to the community to assist with information.

“We are asking the community to come forward with information that may lead to the arrest of five suspects accused of attempted murder,” explained Sgt Styles Maome, communications officer for the Primrose police.

“The suspects allegedly shot a shop assistant in the Makause informal settlement last Friday.”

It was reported the victim was shot after he locked the security gate when he realised the suspects intended to rob the store.

“Paramedics were called to the scene and the victim was transported to hospital for medical attention,” said Maome.
