Busy weekend for Katlehong police

Katlehong police share their successes.

Katlehong police nabbed 17 suspects during several weekend operations.

The operations were conducted by officers from the Katlehong SAPS Crime Prevention Unit, with help from detectives from the Katlehong Police Station and EMPD officers, between January 11 and 13.

The accused were charged with several different offences.

Charges included murder, assault with the intent to cause grievous bodily harm, common assault, malicious damage to property, dealing in drugs, warrant of arrest, domestic violence, possession of drugs and driving under the influence of alcohol.

All of the arrested suspects appeared in the Palm Ridge Magistrate’s Court, where their cases were postponed for different reasons.
