Busy first week of the year for Primrose SAPS

The Primrose police share their latest arrest statistics.

The Primrose police arrested 21 suspects between January 2 and 9.

This is according to the latest arrest statistics released by the station.

The accused were charged with a number of different offences.

Charges included possession of drugs, assault with the intent to cause grievous bodily harm, driving under the influence of alcohol, theft, possession of suspected stolen property, business break-in, theft of a motor vehicle, dealing in liquor without a licence and shoplifting.

The Primrose SAPS acting station commander, Lt Col Andre Jordan, thanked everyone who contributed to the successful arrests.

Most of the suspects appeared in the Germiston Magistrate’s Court where their cases were postponed for various reasons, while others paid admission of guilt fines at the station and were released.
