Paediatric patients and parents share some festive fun

Life Roseacres Hospital adds some fun to the lives of their paediatric patients and their parents this festive season.

There is nothing worse than being stuck in hospital over the festive season.

But for some there is no choice.

To help lift the mood of the paediatric patients and their parents, Life Roseacres Hospital and Medirest added some fun by encouraging everyone to decorate a gingerbread house.

Carina van Vuuren (Life Roseacres Hospital’s catering manager) and her daughter Wiandri headed-up the recent project.

The project was a hit and everyone involved had a great time.

Wiandri van Vuuren and paediatric patient’s mom’s Tenika Venter, Jacky Shokkos, Jordan De Almeida, and Keeshia De Almeida, work on the gingerbread house.
