Home Affairs to extend hours until January 11

Germiston Home Affairs will be open for longer until January 11.

Department of Home Affairs offices will be open from 7am to 7pm until January 11.

The longer working hours extend to the Germiston Home Affairs office and residents are urged to make use of the opportunity to get their IDs.

Residents are also encouraged to visit their nearest IEC office to register to vote or to SMS their ID number to 32810 to check on their registration status.

Residents without ID books or smart card IDs should contact their nearest Home Affairs office as soon as possible.
