According to the latest arrest statistics released by the Germiston Police Station, 13 suspects were arrested between January 1 and 7.

The accused were arrested for various offences, including:
• Shoplifting: 2
• Driving under the influence of alcohol: 2
• Assault with the intent to cause grievous bodily harm: 1
• Common assault: 3
• Dealing in drugs: 2
• House break-in and theft: 1
• Bribery: 1
• Intimidation: 1

Most of the suspects appeared in the Germiston Magistrate’s Court, where their cases were postponed for various reasons, while others paid an admission of guilt fines before being released.
