Make a wish come true for the Germiston SPCA
The Germiston SPCA is appealing to the public to help it fulfil its wish list.
The Germiston SPCA is a registered non-profit organisation.
The society does not receive funding from the government and relies solely on donations from members of the public.
To ensure that it can continue protecting the best interests of the animals in its jurisdiction, the SPCA is appealing to the public to donate to its cause.
The Germiston SPCA has drawn up its 2019 wish list and is appealing for help to fulfil these wishes.
• Wish list:
Charity shop:
• Clothing (all ages and sizes).
• Furniture.
• Linen/towels/curtains.
• Books.
• Jewellery.
• Kitchenware.
• Appliances (in working condition).
• Shoes.
• Bags.
Administration:
• Black pens.
• Soft pencils.
• File dividers.
• Photostat and carbon paper (reams).
• Staples.
• Glue.
• Highlighters.
• Punch.
• Printer/copier cartridges.
• Whiteboard and permanent markers.
• Any other stationery items.

Garden/premises:
• Plastic rakes.

Kennels:

• New tyres for four vehicles.
• Service costs of all vehicles.
Kitchen:
• Coffee mugs, glasses and teaspoons.
• General cleaning supplies.
• Dishwashing liquid.
• All-purpose cleaner.
• Window cleaner.
• Milk (long life), sugar, tea and coffee.
General:
• Monetary donations.
• Kennel sponsorship (R300 per month or R3 000 per year).
• Flags/banners for events.
• Rain suits for staff.
• Fuel sponsorship for four vehicles.
• Financial support to purchase uniforms.
• Hand sanitiser.
• Hand wash.
• Building of shelter for pig.
• Tissues and toilet paper.
• Donations towards outreach programmes.
Hospital:
• Renovation of hospital area.
• Air conditioning
• Methylated spirits.
• Carrying cages.
• Thick plastic aprons.
• Wound spray.
• Flea and tick spray.
• Fridge (bar size).
• Elastoplast (25, 50 and 70mm).
• Fly traps.
• Jumbo paper towel rolls.
