EMPD Drug Enforcement Unit members recently arrested a man found with R7 000 worth of the drug Kat.
The drugs were discovered at the man’s home in Primrose following a tip-off from members of the community.
Immediately after receiving the tip-off, the EMPD Drug Enforcement Unit members swooped on the house in Lupin Street discovering nine ziplock bags of Kat and one knotted plastic bag of Kat.
The 26-year-old foreign national was detained at the Primrose Police Station on charges of possession of and dealing in narcotics.
He was due to appear in the Germiston Magistrate’s Court.
