Woman nabbed for alleged malicious damage to property

Woman apprehended by the Primrose police for alleged malicious damage to property.

A 32-year-old woman was recently arrested by the Primrose police for malicious damage to property.

The woman was arrested in the Makause informal settlement after she allegedly damaged a man’s vehicle.

“The complainant alleged he was driving in the informal settlement when the accused approached his vehicle, demanding her children’s clothes which she claimed were in his possession.

“He claimed she pulled his side mirror off the vehicle before scratching the vehicle’s bonnet,” explained Sgt Styles Maome, communications officer for the Primrose police.

Officers from the Primrose Police Station were summoned to the scene and the woman was arrested.

She has since appeared in the Germiston Magistrate’s Court where her case was postponed for plea and trial.
