With the festive season in full swing, the Primrose police are urging residents to take special precautions.
“We’re appealing to the community to be careful, especially when entering or leaving their premises,” said Sgt Styles Maome, communications officer for Primrose SAPS.

The warning comes after an increase in violent crimes such as hijackings, house break-ins, armed robberies and business robberies.
“We’ll double our efforts to make Primrose a safe place to be, but we also appeal for support from our community,” Maome said.
