Municipal offices to close, emergency and essential services won’t be affected

You can still report service issues to the call centre over the festive period.

The metro’s offices will be closed from Monday, December 24 and reopen on January 2, 2019.

However, the metro’s 24-hour community health care centres will continue operating throughout the festive season.

Primary healthcare clinics that operate during normal working hours will only be open between December 27 and 28  from 8am to 4.30pm.

Ekurhuleni residents can continue to enjoy the convenience of the metro’s extended hours health care programme, and 28 clinics across Ekurhuleni are already part of the 24-hour healthcare provision programme.

Prepaid units for electricity can still be bought from the various vendors during this time and the online platforms are available to view and pay accounts online on  www.e-siyakhokha.co.za.
