The Primrose SAPS Crime Prevention Youth Desk celebrated a successful year with a fun-filled team building day.

As the year comes to an, end many of us are taking the opportunity to reflect on the year that has been.

The members of the Primrose SAPS Crime Prevention Youth Desk are no different.

They recently celebrated another successful year with a fun-filled team building day at Gillooly’s Farm.

“The day was a great success, with the entire team enjoying a variety of fun-filled games,” said youth desk secretary Dibuseng Motlokoa.

The youth desk thanked all their sponsors who helped make the day special and helped with their 16 Days of Activism projects, including the Primrose CPF, Chubby Chums for the Children’s Homes, Cartoon Candy, Avril Elizabeth Home, King Glory Packaging and Spectrum Properties.

“It is nice to be appreciated and for people to not view us as children but people trying to make a difference in the community.”

Youth desk public relations officer Chantel Bergman said: “It was nice to get a message of support and appreciation from them.”

As the team heads into the new year, they are appealing to the community to get involved and join the youth desk.
