Meryse Felix from Mica, who is passionate about the well-being of children, said it was vital to invest in children because they truly are our future leaders.

“I live in the area and noticed their sign one day,” said Meryse.

“I felt the need to get involved and help in any way I could when I got home that day. I found their website and got my company involved.

“I believe in children and strongly believe we have to play a part in helping babies and children, on behalf of those who cannot do it.”

To make the home’s office a little more efficient, an office solution box containing binders, a shredder and other stationery, was donated.

“I have been in the service of children for 15 years, in the form of community and church projects,” said Maryna Druckenbacher, a sales representative at Office National.

“My team at Office National and I love giving back to various homes in the community.

“At this time of the year as we celebrate Christmas, being able to participate in offering donations to those in need, especially babies, warms our hearts.”

The home’s managers thanked the companies for their donations.

“To have companies within our community, and in neighbouring communities, helping us lift the financial burden by taking money from their own pockets to bless our home is heart-warming,” said Merencia Scholtz.
