ALERT: Some residents to be without water on Saturday

There will be a planned water interruption in a number of Germiston suburbs on December 1.

The metro wishes to inform customers in Germiston of a planned water supply interruption scheduled for Saturday, December 1 (tomorrow).

There will be no water from 8am to 4.30pm in some suburbs.

The interruption is to make way for the installation of new infrastructure to one of the reservoirs in the area.

The affected areas include:

• Albemarle.

• Castleview.

• Dinwiddie.

• Roodekop Extension 31.

• Wadeville.

Eight water tankers will be made available, at the listed areas below, to supply the affected customers.

Water tankers will be stationed on the corners of the following streets:

• Krag and Kasteel.

• Lennox and Draper.

• Grasmere and Grey.

• Kinston and Dewlish.

• Ashford and Swanag.

Two roving water tankers will supply water in the Roodekop area.

The metro apologises for any inconvenience caused.
