In yet another success against drug dealers as a result of a tip-off from members of the community, the EMPD Drug Enforcement Unit nabbed two people.
The arrests of a 26-year-old man and a 20-year-old woman took place last Tuesday at about 5.25am.
They were allegedly found in possession of crystal methamphetamine and Kat with a street value of R4 600.
“As per information received, the EMPD members swooped on a house in Extension Five in Katlehong,” said Chief Supt Wilfred Kgasago, spokesperson for the EMPD.

“Twenty ziplock bags of Kat and two ziplock bags of crystal methamphetamine were found.”
The arrested pair was detained at the Katlehong Police Station and charged with possession of and dealing in illicit substances.
They are expected to appear in the Palm Ridge Magistrate’s Court soon.
