Eaton Electric South Africa gives some insight into their first-of-a-kind microgrid.

This year has been tough for individuals and companies across the city, with VAT increasing in April and petrol prices increasing almost monthly, many are looking for ways to save money.

Wadeville-based Eaton Electric South Africa believes they have a way for many to save, not only money on electricity, but the environment too.

In March 2018, the global power management company launched a first-of-a-kind microgrid using Nissan’s second life electric vehicle batteries.
