Electricity in classrooms and running water from taps is a norm in many schools in Germiston and Ithembelihle LSEN School, in Primrose, is no different.
However, the cost of such amenities is often overlooked.
With this ongoing, and often unpredictable, cost in mind, a team made up of the Institute for Information Industry and Taiwan and Lighting Afrika Group, with funding support from the Taipei Liaison Office, have implemented a water and lighting efficiency development programme, at the school.
