Men for Change makes a difference at Sunshine Centre Association

Elsburg SAPS and Men for Change made a difference in the lives of many when they celebrated Heritage Day at Sunshine Centre Association.

Members of the Elsburg police dressed up in their different colourful cultural attire and headed to Sunshine Centre Association in Elsburg, last Friday, to celebrate their heritage of giving with the children and teachers at the centre.

Members of the Elsburg SAPS, together with Men for Change, donated much-needed items to the Sunshine Centre Association in Elsburg.

Together with Men for Change, the officers donated nappies, sanitary items, groceries and electrical appliances which were listed in a letter from the centre.

“The Elsburg police had a great day at the centre and our support commander Lt Col Bongani Mthiyane thanked all members who attended the event and endeavoured to make a difference in the children’s lives,” said Const Daphney Phooko, communications officer for the Elsburg police.
