Birthday celebrations were the order of the day at Rest-a-While Service Centre for the Aged on Thursday.
The centre celebrated its 52nd birthday with a spring theme and guests arrived dressed in their best floral attire for the party.

Cherrywood Estates donated a washing machine to Rest-a-While, and many also walked away with great prizes courtesy of a lucky draw organised by the centre.
The centre’s manager, Trudy Carreira, kept many in suspense as she read out the winning numbers to eager competition entrants.
The celebrations were set to continue into the next day where the centre’s staff and members would celebrate Heritage Day, dressed in their best African clothes for the African line dancing show.
