Ithembelihle’s veggies to get some welcome shade

Local hardware store donated shade netting to school.

Silvasons Hardware, located in Rietfontein Road, Primrose, recently visited Ithembelihle Lsen School to donate shade netting for their vegetable garden.

The Primrose East-based school teaches physically and mentally impaired children and the school hostel accommodates about 200 learners.

The garden is tended to by the groundsmen and learners from the skills class who do gardening as one of their practical skills.

The vegetables are then used in their meals.

Silvasons has a long-standing relationship with the school and is a keen supporter of the institution.
