Eden Village residents sick of rubble on their sidewalks

Meadowbrook residents call on the metro and Clr Wendy Morgan to assist with rubble left by construction workers.

Residents from Eden Village in Meadowbrook are fed up with the rubble on their sidewalk along Margaret and Gibralter roads.

The rubble was caused by the installation of electric cables over three months ago.

“We have previously called the metro and the Ward 36 councillor Wendy Morgan, but nothing has been done,” said Denis Mcgee, a resident of Eden Village.

“We love our home and take pride in keeping it clean. Being met with the sight of dirt when driving in and out is displeasing.”

Meadowbrook residents living on Margaret and Gibralter Roads want answers from the metro.

The GCN requested comment from the metro and Ward 36 councillor Wendy Morgan. Mpumelelo Dlamini of the metro said the metro was aware of the problem and expected their team to finish rehabilitation in Meadowbrook by September 8.
