Help make your neighbourhood a safer place with the Primrose Sector Two CPF

Residents are urged to get on board to help make their area crime-free.

The Primrose Sector Two CPF wants to make a difference in the fight against crime in its area.

The suburbs of Sunnyridge, Sunny Rock, Gerdview, Homestead, Rustivia, Solheim, Symhurst, Fishers’ Hill and Wannenburg, fall under the Primrose Sector Two umbrella.

The organisation operates on a volunteer basis, with patrollers giving freely of their time and resources, to act as a deterrent to criminals.

Chairperson Alex da Silva told the GCN that they are particularly looking for new patrollers for the daytime.

“We are appealing to people who stay in the sector and are available during the day to join us and help patrol our streets,” Alex said.

The CPF acts as the eyes and ears of the SAPS and requires funds primarily for radios, radio repeater fees, bulletproof vests and fuel.
