Fed-up residents from Winnie Mandela in Tembisa descended on the Germiston Civic Centre recently demanding the serviced stands they were allegedly promised by the metro. The residents claim that they identified land suitable for serviced stands in Tembisa, last year, and were promised by the office of the MMC for Human Settlements, Lesiba Mpya, that they would be given stands.
