Woman stabbed, skin removed from her face in gruesome murder in Primrose

The Primrose SAPS responded to a gruesome murder scene in the Makause informal settlement last Saturday. Upon arrival, they found an unknown woman in her late 20s. She had sustained two stab wounds to her upper body and the skin of her face had been removed.

Watch: Protestors descend on Germiston demanding permanent jobs

Traffic in the Germiston CBD was affected by a protest march taking place in the city last Thursday. The protestors were demanding to speak to the metro’s mayor, Mzwandile Masina, the city manager, Dr Imogen Mashazi and the HOD of the metro’s Department of Solid Waste.

The Rand Airshow took flight once again from Rand Airport, on August 19. The programme, which made for a great family day out of the house, was made up of displays from Harvards, Pitts Specials, a Dakota, the Silver Falcons, Trojans, the P-51 “Mustang Sally” and many more – all flown by highly skilled pilots.
