According to the latest arrest statistics released by the Germiston Police Station, 84 suspects were arrested between August 14 and 20.

The accused were arrested for various offences, including:
Possession of dagga: 22
Driving under the influence of alcohol: 16
Assault with the intent to cause grievous bodily harm: 5
Interfering with police duties: 4
Theft: 2
Shoplifting: 6
Malicious damage to property: 2
Fraud: 3
Common robbery: 1
Dealing in drugs: 3
Reckless and negligent driving: 2
Common assault: 5
Possession of drugs: 2
Possession of suspected stolen property: 7
House break-in: 1
Dealing in liquor without a licence: 2
Attempted murder: 1

All of the arrested suspects appeared in the Germiston Magistrate’s Court where their cases were postponed for various reasons.
