Man nabbed with suspected stolen property

Primrose Police Station detectives arrest man in Hackea Road on a charge of possession of suspected stolen property.

While detectives from the Primrose Police Station were recently patrolling their precinct, during a special operation, they noticed a man carrying a large battery.

They stopped the 24-year-old in Hackea Road, in Primrose, and noted that he became panicked when asked where the battery had come from.

He was arrested and taken to the Primrose Police Station and charged with possession of suspected stolen property.

He has since appeared in the Germiston Magistrate’s Court, where his case was postponed for plea and trial.
